Zazie Olivia Beetz was born on the 1st of January 1991 in Berlin. Her father is who was a German cabinetmaker who moved to America United States after the Fall of the Berlin Wall in 1990, is also her mother, a South African American social worker. Jennifer Aniston is also a graduate of the same highschool. Beetz, who graduated from LaGuardia in 2007 attended Skidmore College and studied French. Beetz immediately began auditioning after her college graduation and was offered the role of Van in Atlanta. Born in Berlin to the parents of a German father and an African-American mother, Beetz was born on the streets of New York speaking both German and English at her home. Zazie was a stage performer in the community and in the stage of New York from the time she was a child. Zazie discovered that she enjoyed acting while at school.
